The Latin American &
Caribbean Heritage Room!

A dedicated group of people in the Pittsburgh
community have put together a proposal to create a
NEW HERITAGE ROOM in the Cathedral of Learning.

The new room would feature the rich culture and
heritage of the Latin American and Caribbean regions;
and this would be reflected in the room's design!

The Latin American & Caribbean Heritage Room
Creating a legacy for future generations! Help Turn The Dream Into Reality!

We have a vision! Our goal is to create a Latin American &
Caribbean Heritage Room as the newest addition to the
Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh!

This is a golden opportunity to showcase the rich culture
and heritage of Latin America and the Caribbean,
while creating a legacy for future generations.

Since 1938, The Nationality Rooms, located in the Cathedral of Learning on Pitt Campus, have symbolized cultural diversity at the University of Pittsburgh. Each room is a tribute to different cultures from around the world. With approximately 30,000 visitors annually to this Pittsburgh Historic Landmark, the Nationality Rooms are a highlight of any Pittsburgh Tour!

Our dream is to one day have a new Latin American
& Caribbean Heritage Room to join this tour!

We are dedicated to raising public awareness about the
Heritage Room and securing the funds to make this dream a reality!

With an unprecedented growth in the Pittsburgh Hispanic Community,
and the cultural value of The Latin American & Caribbean Heritage
Room, we know we can achieve our goals! ¡Sí, se puede!
