Latin American & Caribbean Heritage Room
Committee is Seeking Proposals for Room Designs!

This is an opportunity for amateur and professional architects,
artists, students, & historians to help create a legacy!

Design proposals should incorporate the rich culture and heritage of the Latin American and the Caribbean regions. This should be reflected in the architecture, furnishings, artwork, window treatments, etc. In essence, the total room design should immediately immerse visitors into a Latin American & Caribbean experience!

Please keep in mind that we are governed by official guidelines for the Nationality Rooms, established by the University of Pittsburgh. One of these requirements is that all elements of the room design must be PREDATE 1787 in order to be included!

To submit a proposal, please send an email to our Committee Chairperson, Cathy Bazán-Arias, at:   . She will send you the complete set of guidelines established by the University of Pittsburgh, which governs the Nationality Rooms Program. You will also receive the room dimensions to assist you with your design.
